Sykes Racing currently has 6 different mould shapes to choose from which cover a wide range of weights between 65 and 110kg.  Our research into the size and shape of racing eights has been extensive since our very first timber eight was produced in 1973.  Now, using the finest materials available, combined with our different mould choices we are able to produce the finest rowing eights available today.

Along with your choice of mould, we also offer a number of rigging options for you to consider; anodised aluminium wing riggers, anodised conventional aluminium riggers, stainless steel riggers or CD AeRoWing riggers.

Other features of Sykes Eights include:

  • Coxmate Wiring Harness and Speakers in Sykes' Carbon Honeycomb, Kevlar Honeycomb and Glass Honeycomb Eights;
  • Water tight bulkheads to meet FISA Minimum Flotation guidelines;
  • Drink bottle holders;
  • Option of fully adjustable rowing shoes or clog stretchers.
