Rigging for the individual is best explained when it is split into two sections: one focused on the comfort and efficient positioning of the individual; and the second, on rigging an individual to conform to the majority of the crew.  Sometimes of course both problems affect individual crew members.

Sykes Pitch Gauge PDF Print E-mail

The pitch gauge can be used to measure stern pitch and lateral pitch, either on the swivel or pin or at the blade face.

The spirit levels and pitching faces of the guage are at 90 degrees to each other, so once the level has been set the gauge can be used on either 'A' or 'B' face providing the gauge is held the same way and not turned upside down.
