Mould 13 & Mould 23 - 'Olympic' Coxless Pair or Double Scull

One of our most internationally successful boats at all levels of competition from LWT 2- to HWT2-x. When first designed by Jeff Sykes in 1988 it was considered too narrow and unstable due to its semi circular shape for HWT use. However the success of the design at LWT level and in double sculling soon led to a change of heart and this mould has now won World and Olympic Gold in both 2- and 2x for men and women at HWT and LWT levels. Considered by many to be the finest 2-x design used in World Competition.

Mould 13 is suitable for crews 59-75kg while Mould 23 is for crews 80 – 105 kgs.

Mould 29 - Women's Lightweight Double Scull

This boat was first designed during the winter of 1996 and after extensive testing we are convinced there is nothing better for crews up to 60kg.  The boat is entirely semi-circular and is a superb shape for this weight range. At the time of the design we believe is was the only boat in the world built for this specific weight category.  The boat can only be fitted with a ' wing rigger.  We also feel that a bigger version (deeper in the ends) would be an excellent boat for lightweight men's 2X. This boat was most recently used by the Australian Womens Lightweight Double Scull to win the 2002 World Championship
