Low-Inertia Sculls PDF Print E-mail

For scullers looking for oars with a lower overall weight and lighter "swing weight", our new Low Inertia (Low i) sculls are the latest addition to our product range.

Each scull is approximately 180 grams less per scull than the standard Ultralight construction and our testing has indicated that swing weight is reduced by 18% compared to Ultralights which becomes more significant at higher stroke rates.

Lighter scullers may realise more benefit from Low i sculls than heavier scullers, making the new sculls a popular choice for both lightweight men and women.

"Swing weight" refers to the weight at the blade, felt each time the oar changes direction.
