Since our first rowing World Championship gold medal in 1974, Sykes Racing and our boats and designs have been the choice of the majority of Australian Rowing Teams.  We are proud of the fact that our boats have powered most of Australia’s Olympic and World Champion medals.

Just like the rowers in our boats, we love to win too, and sharing in the success when Australian teams use a Sykes boat is an important and enjoyable part of our business.

Australian Rowing teams have long recognised the benefits of competing overseas in Sykes boats and Sykes Racing is pleased to announce our support of the Australian Junior and Under 23 rowing teams in providing the entire fleet of boats to be used by the Australian Junior and Under 23 teams while overseas through until 2012

This direct support will assist in the development of our future elite champions and ensure our teams are equipped with the not just familiar but the latest and best available standard of equipment for their overseas competition. Sykes has supplied this equipment at no cost to the team which will considerably reduce the costs of touring for Australia’s aspiring Champions

Thirteen new boats are nearing completion in preparation for sending to Europe during May.
