While we have grown to be the largest rowing boat builder in Australia, we have seen rowing grow and develop in leaps and bounds. It was in 1966 when Jeff Sykes first designed a racing scull that would assist him in his desire to win an Australian Sculling Championship. Today, 40 plus years on, we still share Jeff’s passion and desire to be the best at what we do. Since our first rowing World Championship gold medal in 1974, Sykes Racing and our boats and designs have been the choice of the majority of Australian Rowing Teams.
